About John Hoffman

John Hoffman Hi. My name is John Hoffman. I migrated to Colorado Springs from Peoria, Illinois in June 2002.
I received my BS Degree in Fine Art from Illinois State University in 1991. Digital Photography has become a passion, hobby, and livelihood for me since putting a hold on the canvas and oil paints.

The Wild West is a breath of fresh air to me and Landscape Photography is a specialty of mine. I offer many of my original photographs as well as some creative composite images based upon my photos. Several of my images have appeared in publications and brochures in the Pikes Peak region and I like being surprised when I walk into a local book store and see one of my images on a calendar or the front cover of a book. My "Morning Light at the Garden of the Gods" composite was even the featured photo on the front cover of the Colorado Springs phone book last issue and one of my Crystal Reservoir photos was on the front cover of the 2009 Official Colorado Springs Visitor Guide as well--woo hoo!
